(above) DRINKING: So my good friend (and ex Cosmo Magazine colleague) Eugenie Kelly is the Deputy Editor/Beauty Director of Aussie Harpers Bazaar. She's also "obsessed with finding ways to make fitness, healthy food and beauty, fun". So much so, that she just just JUST launched a very cool "wellness website" Well To Do with PR whizz Emma Harrison. I'm a bit excited.

Friends with (health) benefits: The TT pot plant REVEAL!

Contrary to popular opinion, indoor air is more polluted than its outdoor counterpart, posing significant risks to our health, according to Body+Soul. Toxic gases leach from floorboards, carpets, TVs and window coverings, collectively contributing to increasingly poor indoor air quality (click here to read more). On the weekend I told you about our new Fiddle Leaf Figs. These guys are my new best friends - slow growing, happy to live indoors AND THEY DON'T ANSWER BACK. Tick. After giving them a bit of a Table Tonic-y makeover, I thought I'd give you a squizz:

(above) I bought a large one and a small one (from the Four Seasons Nursery in Belrose), not entirely sure of where they would go in the house, but I loved them enough to know that just one wasn't going to cut it. I put the large one in a Red Striped Jute Bowl ($55) in our new Library...

(above) And I put the small one in a Large Brown Uashmama Bag ($34)! Apparently they don't need much water at all, just a cup every 3 weeks or so. PS I have a saucer under each pot to catch the water.

Long weekend reads + Fiddle Leaf Figs...

Happy days! New issues of both Adore Home and Lonny are here! Lonny's founding Editor in Chief, Michelle Adams has left (after three years at the helm) to pursue other interests. I hope she's having a long holiday because she deserves it! That said, it's a phenomenal new issue. It just feels... ALIVE again. Adams is succeeded by Irene Edwards, formerly a special projects editor at Travel + Leisure and executive editor of Sunset. She has taken the title of Lonny executive editor. So far? SO good. I really enjoyed this issue.

In (not entirely non-related) long weekend news, we stopped at a local nursery today to stock up on firewood for our soon-to-be-completed second fireplace(!) and I bought a couple of Fiddle Leaf Figs for the house (after seeing them in countless decor mags)! This is the vibe I'm going for (I can't wait to put the big one in one of these or an extra large  Uashmama bag!):
